Homemade Cranberry Sauce
Updated: Dec 15, 2021
So easy to make and is such a delicious addition to any meal, especially Christmas dinner! As per usual, once you have got a taste of the different Partie de Moi Artisan Spice Blends and Seasonings you can choose what flavour you want to go with is it works equally beautifully with the Artisan Pumpkin Spice and the Artisan Winter Spice.
1 Bunch of cranberries
50g sugar or 3 tbsps of Artisan Sugar & Spice - if using this cut down on the amount of Artisan Spice Blend used
1 tsp Artisan Pumpkin Spice or Artisan Winter Spice
Juice of 2 oranges
Rinse cranberries and put in a saucepan or large frying pan with enough orange juice to just cover them. You could use water as well
Add 50g of sugar or the Artisan Sugar & Spice.
Add a the Artisan Spice Blend of your choosing
Bring the mixture to a gentle boil. The Cranberries will start splitting then turn the heat down to a gentle simmer
Turn off the heat after all the cranberries have split. Add more sugar/spice/liquid to taste
It will thicken as it cools. Use a stick blender if you want it smooth. Keep in container in the fridge or put in freezer for another time!
