Pumpkin Spice Yoghurt Cake

This is perfect as a breakfast cake or to give to children as it is quite low sugar. Feel free to add more. And maybe even try it with either the Artisan Winter Spice or the Artisan Sugar and Spice.


Ingredients:

250g yogurt, I used plain Greek 250g plain flour

100g sugar 80g vegetable oil 2 eggs, at room temperature 2 tsp baking powder 1/2 TSP Vanilla essence 1 TSP Partie de Moi Artisan Pumpkin Spice or Spice Blend of your choosing 1 pinch salt


Method:

Preheat oven to 180.


Grease your chosen baking tin or use a silicone one, pops out easily 😊


Mix eggs and sugar, then add oil, Artisan Spice Blend, vanilla essence and mix again.


Add yogurt and mix until smooth.


Whisk flour, baking powder and pinch of salt together and add to the wet batter.

Bake for about 35-40 minutes, until a skewer inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.


I used my recipe for frosting.
